Canada ranked third in the world for COVID–19 innovation

Canada just missed the podium, ranking #4 startup ecosystem globally. According to StartupBlink, the main issue separating Canada from the top three countries is its ability to create unicorns and “highly popular” startups.

Nevertheless, Canada has ranked #3 in the world for its Covid-19 innovation. Schulich in particular has launched multiple COVID-19 initiatives. This includes the COVID-19 Supply Chain Consulting Services as well as the ShopHERE project which is in collaboration with Google, Shopify, Mastercard and Microsoft to build online stores for SMEs.
