Startup Canada 2018 Canadian Entrepreneurship Census Report

Check out Startup Canada’s 2018 Canadian Entrepreneurship Census Report to gain a better understanding of the entrepreneurship community. 250,000 entrepreneurs and enterprise influencers partook in this survey to help create a fully comprehensive census. The report consists of fundamental information about the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including key statistics. For example, 51% of Canadian entrepreneurs are women – up 6% from 2017. The census also emphasizes the needs of entrepreneurs, with the primary issue being funding for 75% of participants. Understanding entrepreneurs and their support systems are key in creating a sustainable environment for SME’s to expand.
